PUHSD is seeking an experienced school psychologist who has worked in a high school setting with students 14-22 years of age. The focus of the school psychologist is to maintain compliance with state, federal and district procedures and policies of special education while enabling students to derive educational benefit from their schooling, accomplished through assisting students having cognitive, academic, adaptive, social or psychological problems, conducting competent and complete multidisciplinary evaluations, and supporting and advising the special and general education team in placement and services provided to students.
