Job Specific Information: This ad is posted to create a pool of qualified Jr/Sr High School Teachers for openings during the 2019/2020 School Year. All applicants interested in teaching positions with Littlefield Unified School District must apply to the “Candidate Pool” to begin the screening process. Candidates who meet the requirements and hiring needs of the District, may be referred to interview for specific vacancies. Certified Teacher wages are based upon education and experience and range from $32,484 to $44,599 plus benefits and up to an additional $7000 in Prop 301 money. The position location will be at Beaver Dam Jr/Sr High School, 3475 E. Rio Virgin Rd., Beaver Dam, AZ 86432. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training, and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in applicable field. License, Certificates, and Fingerprints: o Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, an Arizona Teaching Certificate. o Possession of, or ability to possess, Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint card. If you answer “yes” to any of the criminal background questions, you must provide a written explanation. A criminal offense does not necessarily exclude an applicant from employment with LUSD. Factors such as passage of time since the offense, the nature of the violation, and the extent of rehabilitation will be taken into consideration.
