Elementary Resource Teacher

Union Elementary School District (UESD)

Union Elementary School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Resource Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

The Resource Teacher will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), provide individualized and small-group instruction, monitor student progress, and collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success in an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to meet individual student needs.

• Provide specialized instruction and academic interventions.

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement.

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate special education documentation.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.

Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for appropriate Arizona Department of Education Special Education certification.
