Position Summary

Union Elementary School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 8th Grade Math & Science Teacher to inspire student learning and academic success. This position is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in mathematics and science while developing students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with Arizona State Standards and District curriculum.

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.

• Assess and monitor student progress, using data to guide instruction and improve academic achievement.

• Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success.

• Maintain accurate student records and participate in professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.

• Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate or enrollment in an educator preparation program with an Alternative Teaching Certificate.

• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance.

• Job-related experience.
