Kindergarten Teacher

George Gervin Prep Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and highly motivated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who creates a structured, nurturing classroom while maintaining high expectations for every student.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in all core subject areas.
• Build strong foundational literacy and math skills.
• Create a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including English Learners and students receiving special education services.
• Use student data to guide small-group instruction, intervention, and enrichment.
• Maintain accurate grades, lesson plans, assessments, and required documentation.
• Communicate consistently and professionally with families.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in PLCs, professional development, and coaching.
• Model and reinforce our PACK values: Perseverance, Accountability, Community, and Knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Arizona teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
• Kindergarten or primary-grade teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• A commitment to high expectations, student growth, and teamwork.
