George Gervin Prep Academy is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Part-Time Special Education Resource Teacher to join our PACK!

The Special Education Resource Teacher will provide targeted academic support and specially designed instruction to students with disabilities while collaborating with teachers, families, and school leadership to ensure students receive the services and accommodations outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide small-group and individualized special education instruction
• Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive instruction
• Support IEP development and participate in IEP/MET meetings
• Maintain compliance with required special education timelines and documentation
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff
• Build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations for student achievement

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
• Holds or is eligible for appropriate Arizona special education certification
• Has experience supporting K–8 students with diverse learning needs
• Understands IEP implementation, progress monitoring, and special education compliance
• Is organized, dependable, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
• Believes all students can achieve at high levels with appropriate support
