Job Description:

BASIS Chandler is seeking qualified candidates for a Junior High - Tennis Coach - September 21 - December 15.

This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.

Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Experience working with young athletes
  • Ability to demonstrate Tennis skills effectively
  • Experience in playing Tennis at a competitive level

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collegiate student-athlete experience

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of Tennis (starting from how to hit a ball properly)
  • Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
  • Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
  • Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
