Job Description:

This science class is very diversified.  It includes one section of Middle School Career Exporations, three sections of High School science, one section of 8th grade general science, and one section of CTE AG science.  This teacher is responsible for providing  engaging, standards-based instruction and will support students in developing academic knowledge, career readiness skills, critical thinking, hands-on technical skills, and an understanding of agricultural careers and opportunities.  This teacher will also serve as the High School FFA Advisor, providing leadership and opportunities for students through agricultural education, FFA activities, leadership development, career development, and community involvement.

Required Certifications and Qualifications:

Current Arizona Secondary Science Teaching Certification

Current Arizona CTE certification/authorization in AG Science or the ability to obtain the appropriate certification within the required timeframe

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Fingerprint Clearance Card

Pass a background check
