Job Summary:
· Rare in-state travel may be required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
Job Duties:
· Serve as a primary point of contact for School Finance inquiries, supporting districts with reporting, funding, and compliance requirements
· Collaborate with internal teams to maintain data accuracy, process corrections, resolve complex issues, and document solutions to improve processes and identify recurring trends
· Support the development, implementation, and improvement of business processes, operational procedures, and system workflows to ensure compliance with statutory and agency requirements
· Independently lead and manage assigned projects, maintain process documentation, technical specifications
· Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test scenarios, and validation criteria to ensure system functionality
· Plan, develop, and deliver training materials, presentations, and workshops for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) related to School Finance reporting
· Work independently or as part of a team to deliver training
· Analyze training feedback and operational data to identify trends
· Recommend process improvements based on findings
· Update training materials, procedure manuals, and internal guidance based on gathered feedback
· Maintain a working knowledge of student information systems (SIS) and data-reporting processes
