Job Summary:
· Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
Job Duties:
· Collaborate and gain feedback from internal and external stakeholders
· Supports the processing of PEA determination measures by contributing to analysis, coordination, documentation and presentation of data as needed for stakeholders and leadership
· Provides key support in the development and implementation of measures used to calculate and publish significant disproportionality, and assists in communicating and representing this work
· Coordinate IDEA Section 618 data collections, including Dispute Resolution reporting, and assist with the annual Maintenance of Effort (MOE) submission
· Review, validate, and analyze data to ensure compliance with federal reporting requirements and timelines
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge in:
· Applicants must have experience in the field of special education.
· A bachelor’s degree in a related field to work assignment.
