Job Description:

Concordia Charter School is seeking a a part time (20-30 hours per week) K-8th grade Special Eduaction teacher to work on site at our non profit, 501 (c)3 charter school in Mesa . We are a very special school, dedicated to serving our students' academic and emotional learning needs. We have one class per grade with no more than 18 students in a class, and no school on Fridays. Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction: Provide "push-in" model support, collaborating with our general education teachers to ensure students succeed. 
• IEP Management: Help draft, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This includes tracking student progress toward specific goals. 
• Curriculum Modification: Adapt or modify general classroom assignments so they are accessible and engaging for students with unique learning styles. 
• Collaboration: Act as a bridge between students, parents , and general education teachers by offering strategies, resources, and continuous feedback. Organizes and runs all parent MET and IEP meetings.
