The Early Learning Program is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment for preschool-aged children who are D/HH, BVI, and deafblind. Our preschool teachers play a vital role in creating engaging learning experiences that promote communication, social skills, and cognitive development. They collaborate closely with families and other professionals to ensure that each child's unique needs are met.
In preschool positions, teachers are responsible for:
Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) that reflect each child's strengths and areas for growth.
Implementing evidence-based instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
Facilitating a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and discovery.
Engaging families through regular communication and involvement in their child's learning journey.
Participating in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in early childhood education and special education.

PRESCHOOL POSITIONS
The Early Learning Program offers student-centered, site-based preschool services in Phoenix and Tucson for students who are DHH. Teachers work in cooperation with IEP teams in providing students access to the Arizona Early Learning Standards. As part of the preschool team, teachers
