Job Description:
Under immediate supervision of certified teaching staff, subject specialists or Program Director of the Preschool. Performs work of moderate difficulty assisting in the structured education of students. Assignment may be with students of any grade level and may include support in specialized learning environments such as computer labs.

Hiring Pay Range: $16.26 - $17.26 per hour, DOE
.9375 (37.5 hours TOTAL) Kindergarten - .25 FTE, (10 hours per week), Kindergarten Plus - .6875 FTE (27.5 hours per week).
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid meal break)
10 months, 188 paid work days per year
Minimum Required Qualifications: Associates degree preferred and six (6) months of experience working with children that have special needs.
Special Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain Level I-IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety; CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are required within one (1) year of hire.
