Job Description:

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Create a stimulating environment that fosters academic and social excellence; create an environment of respect and rapport, and a culture for learning. 

• Provides ongoing support and assistance to the school to increase learner achievement in physical education.

• Communicates regularly with school administrator(s) and colleagues regarding learner progress and behavior.

• Optimize opportunities to engage learners more deeply in activities and learning that support the Arizona State Standards and the adopted academic/social curriculum through effective questioning and discussion techniques.

• Thrive in a results-driven culture centered on collaboration with the entire school community.

• Applicants must obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Education: high school diploma or GED at minimum

• Experience working with school-age children

• Ability to demonstrate physical activities and movements, stand and move for extended periods, lift and carry equipment, and work outdoors in varying conditions
