Job Description:

The School Registrar/Attendance Clerk serves as the central coordinator for student enrollment, attendance, student records, and front office operations while providing exceptional customer service to families. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate student information, ensuring compliance with Arizona Department of Education (ADE) requirements, supporting student recruitment and retention efforts, and promoting the school through social media and community engagement.

The Registrar/Attendance Clerk is often the first impression families receive and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and student-centered environment.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of experience in school administration, registrar, attendance, or office management.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain).

Preferred

  • Experience with Synergy Student Information System.
  • Knowledge of Arizona attendance laws, AZEDS, and ADE reporting requirements.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience creating social media content and promotional materials using Canva or similar platforms.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time, 12-Month Position
  • Monday–Friday
  • Occasional evenings for family engagement events, enrollment events, and school activities.
