Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Data Analysis, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Arizona teaching certification.
- Prior experience in curriculum development and data analysis within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with state and federal testing regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using educational technology and data management systems.
Job Summary:
The Sanders Unified School District is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to serve as the Curriculum & Data/District Test Coordinator. This position will play a critical role in leading curriculum development, assessment administration, and data analysis to support educational improvement initiatives across the district. The coordinator will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of educational programs and assessments that enhance student learning and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Coordination:
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum alignment with state standards and district goals.
- Provide professional development and resources for instructional staff to enhance curriculum delivery and student engagement.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and provide feedback to ensure best practices are being followed.
- Assist in the integration of technology into the curriculum and instructional practices.
Data Coordination:
- Manage the collection, analysis, and reporting of student performance data, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
- Collaborate with school leaders to identify areas for improvement based on data findings and support the development of targeted action plans.
- Facilitate the training of staff in the use of assessment tools and data platforms to support effective decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations on student performance data for district leadership and the school board.
Test Coordination:
- Oversee the administration of district-wide assessments, including standardized tests, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Coordinate logistics for testing, including scheduling, training of test administrators, and distribution of materials.
- Analyze test results to provide insights and recommendations for curriculum and instructional adjustments.
- Communicate test information, schedules, and results to parents, staff, and the community in a clear and timely manner.
