Hours: up to 35 hours per week, M-F

EDUPRIZE Queen Creek is seeking a compassionate and dedicated reading interventionist to support students in grades K-3 who require additional assistance in developing foundational literacy skills. This role focuses on delivering targeted, evidence-based reading interventions to build phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and early comprehension skills. The reading interventionist works closely with the Academic Department to implement effective instructional strategies, monitor student progress, and help ensure meaningful academic growth for each learner.
Key Responsibilities
Provide small-group instruction in foundational reading skills
Regularly assess student progress using both formal and informal early literacy assessments
Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and intervention outcomes
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school personnel to support student success
Participate in administration of screening assessments with assessment team
Qualifications
Strong commitment to helping young students become fluent, confident readers
Experience working with primary grade (K-3) students preferred, but not required
Solid understanding of early literacy development and intervention strategies
Ability to interpret data and use it to inform instructional decisions
Excellent communication, organizations, time management, and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Ability to build positive relationships and motivate emerging readers
Skilled in effectively managing small groups, maintaining engagement and on-task behavior
Work Environment
School-based setting, with flexibility to work in various spaces throughout the day
