Join Our Team: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)

Prescott Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist to support our K-4 students at Abia Judd Elementary School. This role is focused on improving children's ability to communicate and ensuring speech impairments do not hinder their educational success.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $67,500 – $80,300 (based on experience and education).
  • Hiring Bonus: $5,000 total ($2,500 in first paycheck; $2,500 at start of Year 3).
  • Contract: 186 days (10-month contract).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech/language screenings and evaluations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to write and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Consult with parents, teachers, and related service personnel regarding student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements

  • Certification: Valid SLP certificate from the AZ Department of Education.
  • Licensure: Valid license from the AZ Department of Health Services.
  • Clearance: Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain collected behavior in stressful situations.
