Job Description:

Summary: Responsible for managing the facilities and transportation departments, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for students and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, college degree, or related experience
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and Bus Driving CDL certification.
• Knowledge in construction, maintenance, safety, transportation preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Supervises: Custodial, maintenance staff, bus drivers, school bus maintenance workers, and transportation scheduler.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervises custodial, maintenance and transportation staff. Works closely with contractors and other outside entities
2. Oversee building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance for buildings, buses, and school vehicles.
3. Manage grounds, landscaping and athletic field maintenance.
4. Oversee transportation, including routes and extracurricular trips.
5. Plan and maintain ADA compliance for buildings.
6. Order materials, track work orders, and manage budgets.
7. Ensure staff training and compliance with safety standards.
8. Maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.
9. Respond to emergencies and attend meetings when necessary.

Physical & Environmental Conditions: Involves sitting, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to outdoor and indoor conditions.

Evaluation: Performance reviewed by the Superintendent.

The town of Bagdad is located in the high desert of central Arizona approximately 100 miles northwest of Phoenix / 60 miles west of Prescott.
