Job Summary:
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
Job Duties:
· Identifies and communicates audit work, conclusions and audit findings to the assigned Audit Supervisor and Chief Auditor through team meetings
· Drafts audit reports as directed by the assigned Audit Supervisor according to Audit Unit writing guidelines and appropriately prepares these reports for the Quality Control process
· Assist the Audit Unit with efficiency, effectiveness of Unit operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge in:
· Principles, practices, concepts, methods, and techniques of auditing
· Analysis and presentation of data and conclusions
· Applicants must have two years of auditing experience or two years in data analysis of K-12 student records or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Skills in:
· Advanced skill in using Microsoft Excel
· Basic skill in using Microsoft Outlook
Ability to:
· Conduct data analysis
· Identify and analyze organizational processes and identify potential solutions
· Organize ideas verbally and in writing
· Communicate effectively, both individually and in group settings

You will be required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) upon your 27th week of employment, subject to waiting period. On or shortly after, your first day of employment you will be provided with enrollment instructions and effective date.
