Job Description:
Under the administrative direction of the school principal, the school counselor is responsible for providing a comprehensive school counseling program that is preventive in design and developmental in implementation. The program supports the development of the knowledge and skills students need to achieve academic success and college and career readiness. The focus of this position is on the services provided to freshmen to establish a strong academic foundation and support them in the transition to high school.
Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Minimum Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Counseling and a current Arizona Guidance Counselor certificate at the time of hire.
