Job Description:

Skyview School seeks a middle school teacher dedicated to students’ social, emotional, and academic growth.
This role is part of a close-knit team of 2 teachers and 2 aides and includes teaching social studies, English
language arts, and 7th-grade math. The teacher will design and deliver engaging, multidisciplinary,
project-based learning while fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment. Ideal candidates have
experience with middle school students and differentiating instruction.

Key Responsibilities
● Deliver and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
● Plan lessons, assess student progress, and provide feedback
● Differentiate instruction for individual student needs
● Communicate effectively with families and colleagues
● Collaborate with staff, including special education and aides
● Implement Responsive Classroom practices
● Participate in professional development
● Plan and chaperone field trips (including overnight trips)
● Attend school-wide events
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching credential
● Strong communication and relationship-building skills
● Experience with lesson planning and project-based learning
