Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School English Teacher to support the academic and social development of High School students. The ideal candidate creates an engaging, student-centered classroom and uses a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

- Design and implement standards-based lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Use a variety of instructional strategies (literature, technology, hands-on activities, etc.)
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Establish and maintain effective classroom management systems
- Monitor, assess, and document student academic and social progress
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school staff
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school initiatives
- Maintain classroom materials and manage resources effectively
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
- Uphold district policies and promote a respectful, inclusive school culture

Employment Details
Start Date: July 1, 2026
Salary: DOE ($61,000-$72,000 Annually)
Schedule: Four-day school week (Monday-Thursday)
