Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School English Teacher to support the academic and social development of High School students. The ideal candidate creates an engaging, student-centered classroom and uses a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

• Design and implement standards-based lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
• Use a variety of instructional strategies (literature, technology, hands-on activities, etc.)
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
• Establish and maintain effective classroom management systems
• Monitor, assess, and document student academic and social progress
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school initiatives
• Maintain classroom materials and manage resources effectively
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
• Uphold district policies and promote a respectful, inclusive school culture

Employment Details

Start Date: July 1, 2026

Salary: DOE ($61,000-$72,000 Annually)

Schedule: Four-day school week (Monday-Thursday)
