Job Description:

Position summary:  We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and caring elementary teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across core subject areas to students in kindergarten through 4th grade. The ideal candidate creates a warm, structured, and engaging classroom community that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies
• Differentiate instruction to support students across a range of learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture grounded in respect and high expectations
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain consistent communication with families through conferences, newsletters, and regular progress updates.
• Collaborate with administrarion, specialists, and support staff to meet IEP and 504 requirements
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school-wide events
• Maintain accurate records, grade books, and required documentation in compliance with district policies

Required qualifications

• Experience in education or related field
• IVP fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain one.
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• +1+ years of classroom teaching experience
• +Experience in a rural or small school setting
• +Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• +Training in trauma-informed practices
• +Experience with multi-grade or multi-level instruction
• +SEI or ELL endorsement
