Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and standards-based math instruction tailored to a variety of learning styles and academic levels
• Build strong, positive relationships with students to support academic achievement and social-emotional growth
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and persistence
• Use data to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and meet all state and district requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain) in Mathematics
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to working with diverse and non-traditional student populations
• Flexibility, patience, and a growth mindset
• Preferred: Experience in alternative education or working with at-risk youth
