Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our alternative high school community. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and standards-based math instruction tailored to a variety of learning styles and academic levels
- Build strong, positive relationships with students to support academic achievement and social-emotional growth
- Create a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and persistence
- Use data to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and meet all state and district requirements

Qualifications
- Valid Arizona teaching certification (or ability to obtain) in Mathematics
- Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to working with diverse and non-traditional student populations
- Flexibility, patience, and a growth mindset
- Preferred: Experience in alternative education or working with at-risk youth
