Job Description:
Franklin Phonetic School is a free public Charter School founded in 1996 by three career teachers including an internationally known music composer. The applicant will be responsible for teaching brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments to students in grades 4-8.
The responsibilities for this part time job include teaching and planning for 3 bands: beginning band, intermediate band, and concert band. The position also includes assisting students with solo/ensemble preparation and parade practice/participation as well as at least two concerts per school year. The addition of a guitar class and/or other middle school classes is also a possibility to add extra hours to the work day.
The position will be $25-$35 per hour based on experience and education.
