You will:

  • Be the go-to clinical expert in a school, responsible for identifying and supporting a student's communication needs.

  • Be a leader of a Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) and the Individual Education Program (IEP) team

  • Plan and run therapy sessions—whether it's small groups, or right in the classroom—to boost a student’s learning and social-emotional growth.

  • Assess, customize, and manage Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems to ensure all modes of communication are used consistently and meaningfully.

  • Actively team up with general education teachers and other specialists to weave communication goals and strategies into each student's day, helping them use their new skills across all academic and social environments.

  • Serve as a vital resource by providing training and ongoing advice to teachers, support staff, administrators, and parents.

  • Become part of a community that believes in student and staff success and growth.
