Works under minimal direction providing instruction to students so that they can learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as responsible citizens and lifelong learners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field and Highly Qualified status in at least one subject area as dictated by specific vacancies.  Preference will be given to candidates with AZ Teacher Certification and/or experience working with at-risk youth. 

Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background clearance check.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an Arizona driver’s license.

May be required to demonstrate fluency in English written and oral communications.

May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

May be required to work outside normal working hours.
