The Mammoth - San Manuel PK-12 school is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. 

Job Title: Special Education & Resource Teacher

Reporting Supervisor: Principal

Job Description: Helping exceptional education students benefit and advance in education through appropriate individualized instruction and small group instruction. Providing opportunities for growth in academics, social, and physical development as appropriate. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Knowledge of student referral and placement procedures.

Knowledge in the preparation, writing and implementation of an IEP, including goals and objectives for students plans. 

Assists in the referral proccess, including testing and assessment of students. 

Performs essential role within child study team and meetings. 

Developes a classroom management, with a postive student environment. 

Maintains and safeguards student confidentiality and recordkeeping. 

Maintains communication with families. 

Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Principal.
