*A master’s degree in Education Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.

*3-5 years of successful teaching experience and some administration or leadership experience is preferred.

*Valid AZ administrative certification.

The town of Bagdad is located in the high desert of central Arizona approximately 100 miles northwest of Phoenix / 60 miles west of Prescott. The town has had a direct relationship to local mining operations which have been ongoing since 1882 when the first claims were staked.  The Townsite (http://bagdadaztown.com) and the Bagdad copper/molybdenum mine are owned by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold. The town is home to approximately 2,500 people, including mine employees and their families, school district personnel, and other local businesses.
