Job Description:
Plan and provide for appropriate learning experiences for Secondary Math students in a variety of educational settings. Responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides instruction for students in mathematics, reading, language arts, and other subjects. Employ educational strategies and techniques during instruction to improve academic success of the student. Provide instructional support and activities using a variety of instructional techniques and technologies that lead to academic proficiency. Meet with parents to discuss their children’s progress. Confer with Principal / Superintendent to develop a plan that best meets the education goals of the students. Maintain accurate and complete student records documenting time spent and student progress. Build positive and productive relationships with students, families, teachers, staff and administration.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education – Mathematics or Equivalent. Possess Arizona DOE Certificate for Standard Professional Secondary 6-12 Math.
