ELD High School Math Teacher
SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Arizona Secondary Certificate with English AND Math Approved Areas
OR
- Arizona Subject Matter Expert Certificate 6-12 with English AND Math Approved Area
AND
- Arizona SEI (Structured English Immersion) Endorsement OR Spanish-Bilingual Endorsement OR ESL Endorsement
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
- Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

- LOCATION: Rincon High School - 5th St & Swan Area
- FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
- Work Calendar: 9.5 month
- Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District. \
