Middle School Science & Social Studies Teacher (Grades 5–8)
Location: Kirkland Elementary School District
Schedule: 4-Day School Week, Full time

Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
Middle school teaching experience preferred, but not required
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver personalized, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of every student across all academic areas.
Ensure students meet or exceed Arizona State Standards for their grade level.
Use innovative instructional practices to inspire curiosity and foster academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and well-being.
Provide active supervision to maintain a safe and supportive environment at all times.
Uphold and model school expectations, addressing student behavior respectfully and documenting incidents as required.
Support curriculum design and implementation aligned with the school’s vision and instructional goals.
Administer and oversee academic programs that reflect Core Knowledge principles and Arizona State Standards.
Integrate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) into daily instruction as appropriate.
Complete all required academic reporting, including Report Cards, 45-Day Screenings, and state or district assessments.
Communicate student progress clearly and consistently with families and other Middle School Science & Social Studies Teacher (Grades 5–8)
