The 7th Middle School Educator at Ethos Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy serves as a dynamic classroom leader, dedicated to realizing the institution's vision and executing its mission. Responsible for implementing board policies, the educator fosters an engaging learning environment by utilizing curriculum, learning materials, and technology effectively. Through observation, evaluation, and data analysis, the educator ensures student progress and accelerates learning while maintaining strong behavior management skills and understanding the developmental needs of scholars. Building positive relationships with students and parents is pivotal for the holistic success of the classroom community.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of personalized learning experiences for each student, encompassing all academic areas.
• Ensure students meet or exceed Arizona state standards for their respective grade levels.
• Deliver effective, innovative, and engaging instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
• Provide vigilant supervision to ensure student safety during all designated times.
• Enforce school rules and respond to student misconduct in a respectful and safe manner, documenting incidents as necessary.
• Contribute to curriculum design, implementation, and support aligned with Ethos Academy's vision.
• Administer and oversee academic programs adhering to core knowledge and state standards.
• Incorporate Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) into the curriculum as appropriate.
• Complete necessary reporting such as Report Cards, 45-Day Screenings, and state/district testing.
• Communicate student progress effectively with stakeholders.
• Adhere to Ethos Academy policies and procedures.
• Provide input on instructional materials selection.
• Attend mandatory meetings and evening programs.
• Maintain knowledge of Arizona State Standards and ensure compliance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Embrace flexibility in accepting additional responsibilities aligned with the school's mission and vision.
