Job Description:

Washington Elementary School District is hiring a teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. The position is for the 5th Grade Teacher, 

• Case load is 30 (including IEP and 504)
• Part of the Hearing Impairment Team

Minimum Requirement - Certification for Hearing Impaired Special Education, Birth - Grade 12.

TEACHER OF THE DEAF/HARD OF HEARING

$50,000 - $77,420 annually 

Stipends:

$3,160 (approx.) Annual stipend for Performance Pay. Exact amount depends on                               performance evaluation. 

$3,000 Annual stipend for Special Education when the teacher is appropriately certified                     for the position. This stipend is paid within the work calendar or

$500    Teachers with a valid teaching certificate, but without a special education                               certificate/endorsement
