Job Description:
This position requires BS/BA minimum: AZ Standard Professional Certification and appropriately certified to teach high school Spanish; SEI endorsement required. Must have or be eligible for AZ IVP fingerprint clearance. Teacher with 5 or more years experience teaching high school science preferred, but not required.
· Up to ten (10) years credit may be given for previous experience for initial placement on the Certified Salary Schedule.
· The District pays approximately $7,000 in addition to salary through other supplemental programs (301 and Title II)
· Benefits include paid employee Medical and Dental insurance (value of over $7,000 annually), Prescription, Life Insurance, Arizona State Retirement, and undifferentiated leave.
· The District pays $25 to forfeit planning period to substitute for another teacher
· In addition, athletic stipends may be available
