Job Description:

The School Nurse/District Health Coordinator provides direction toward the development of a school health program which assists each child in reaching his/her optimal physical potential.

Professional Salary Schedule: $53,000 - $58,460 DOE

Full-time; 40 hours per week

Exempt, 10 months

Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing or related field (BSN preferred); unencumbered RN license in the State of Arizona; minimum of five years of recent experience in nursing; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; prefer education and/or experience related to child growth and development, school or public health experience; prefer prior supervisory experience as a licensed registered nurse.

Special Requirements: Current AZ Dept. of Public Safety Level One IVP fingerprint clearance card; current CPR/First Aid certification; valid Arizona driver’s license and clear driving record.
