Salary Range:
$55,000.00 - $64,500.00 USD annually.

The Exceptional Student Services Program Manager will work to ensure that the ESS department is exceeding the social, emotional and academic outcomes for our students with disabilities. Under the direct guidance from the Executive Director of Exceptional Student Services, the ESS Program Manager will ensure that all the programs and services provided are reported in an accurate and timely manner to be within local, state and federal guidelines to stay in compliance. The incumbent will also oversee that all staff members receive the required trainings and communications. The ESS Program manager will align with our ASU Prep mission to innovate the ESS Department while increasing the opportunities and resources for our students’ safety, stability and success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
Experience with Special Education programs and data collection
Three (3) years of experience in a K-12 school setting.
Knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and laws for Special Education.
Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate trainings for staff members and documentation for all related programs, such as Special Education, 504, Gifted, McKinney Vento, Title IX and health and safety.
Work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Exceptional Student Services to assist with the development and implementation of professional development and best practices to ensure the safety of our students and staff in daily school operations.
Oversee team scheduling and facilitate communication for project completion, conferences, meetings and development trainings.
Ensure compliance with ADE Special Education Monitoring.
Execute reports to the ADE on ESS Census, Grants Management, ESS Vouchers, Parent Survey, etc.
Collaborate with the Director on the completion of required reports and ensure the ESS department is in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders to assess current opportunities and create new to innovate ASU Prep.
Attend and participate in all pertinent meetings and programs associated with the school.
Collaborate with IT to research innovative software applications to improve support of our teams and site directors, i.e. eIEP Pro and SIS integration.
Oversee enrollment and documentation for all SPED and 504 students.
Manage all special education files to ensure that the files are saved in a central location and within legal compliance guidelines.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Occasional travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
