Job Description:
Provide counseling services for the school community in trauma-informed environment. Serviced provided included, but are not limited to:
Ability to analyze data to inform work and decision making, analyze and evaluate available data, assess student needs and develop and implement procedures and policies to support student achievement.
Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the building principal and Director of Student Services.
About the Community of Bagdad:
The town of Bagdad is located in the high desert of central Arizona approximately 100 miles northwest of Phoenix / 60 miles west of Prescott.
The town has had a direct relationship to local mining operations which have been ongoing since 1882 when the first claims were staked. The Townsite (http://bagdadaztown.com) and the Bagdad copper/molybdenum mine are owned by Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold.
The town is home to approximately 2,500 people, including mine employees and their families, school district personnel, and other local businesses. All housing is owned by the mine, so school employees will have a designated home, ranging from $200-$400/month.
