The Student Enrollment and Campus Life Manager is a pivotal member of the administrative team, responsible for overseeing the entire student lifecycle, from initial recruitment through enrollment, retention, and engagement in campus life. This dynamic role requires a passionate individual who will play a key role in fostering an exceptional student experience at ASA. The position involves developing and executing strategies for student recruitment, admissions, retention, and engagement, ensuring that students transition smoothly from prospective applicants to active participants in campus life. This role integrates administrative duties with strategic efforts aimed at enhancing the overall student experience, ensuring students feel supported, engaged, and connected from their first interaction with ASA through their academic journey and beyond. The Student Enrollment and Campus Life Manager can expect to devote 60% of their time to recruiting and enrollment activities with the remaining 40% engaged with campus life activities and student engagement.

This position reports to the Operation Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Student Recruitment and Admissions
Develops and implements comprehensive strategies for student recruitment and outreach, including managing communications and organizing recruitment events such as open houses, campus tours, shadow days, and information sessions.
Oversees the admissions process, ensuring prospective students receive timely and accurate information, and that applications are processed smoothly and efficiently.
Coordinates and manages the enrollment process, including the enrollment lottery, waitlist management, and required placement testing.
Ensures that all prospective students’ application materials, records, and required documentation are collected and processed in a timely manner.
Collaborates with the Director of Operations and other administrators to identify opportunities for improvement in the admissions process to enhance efficiency and the applicant experience.
Collaborates with the Development & Marketing Manager on strategies using community outreach, social media and other communications aimed at recruiting new students to ASA.
Student Retention and Engagement
Develops and implements strategies to improve student retention, ensuring that students are actively engaged in campus life experiences.
Oversees the creation and execution of student orientation programs that help students transition smoothly from prospective applicants to active participants in campus life.
Works closely with faculty and staff to monitor student engagement, address concerns, and provide support to students who may be at risk of disengaging from school.
Develops initiatives to foster student involvement in extracurricular activities, clubs, and social events that align with ASA’s mission and values.
Develops retention initiatives focused on fostering positive relationships between students and the ASA community, addressing any concerns that may impact student success or retention.
Campus Life and Extracurricular Activities
Manages student clubs and extracurricular programs, including allocating budgets, ensuring compliance with school policies, and providing guidance and support to student leaders and faculty sponsors.
Provides oversight and coordination of the school’s athletic programs, including managing budgets and ensuring compliance with regulations such as concussion protocols for the cross-country team.
Acts as the liaison between students, faculty, and administration to ensure that campus life programs meet the needs of the student body and align with the school’s overall mission and values.
Fosters a positive and inclusive campus culture that encourages student participation, leadership development, and community-building.
Data Management and Reporting
Monitors and tracks student engagement, retention rates, and involvement in extracurricular activities, ensuring that data is collected and reported in a timely and accurate manner.
Analyzes trends in student enrollment, retention, and engagement, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in student services and campus life.
Works with the Director of Operations to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of student enrollment and engagement data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in education, student affairs, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in student services, enrollment management, or campus life, with experience in a school or educational setting.
Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) card.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Characteristics
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage students, faculty, staff, and families.
Knowledge of best practices in student recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Knowledge of events and communities in the metro Phoenix area that ASA should strategically target for recruiting new students to the school.
Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale events and activities that support student development and community-building.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with student information systems, data management, and reporting.
