Job Description:

Willcox High School has the following coaching vacancy for the 2024-2025 Spring Sports Season: Head Basketball Coach

Interested applicants should have significant high school coaching and/or college/professional playing experience.  Successful applicants will bring their offensive and defensive philosophies to the interview and must be able to successfully articulate practice plans that lead to the successful implementation of their systems.  Have the ability to organize and prioritize work along with effective verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's Degree Recommended
Valid Arizona Teaching, Substitute, or Arizona Coaching Certificate issued by Arizona Department of Education.

Have completed each of the following criteria from the National Federation of State High School Associations online at www.nfhslearn.org (Level 1 Certification):

NFHS Fundamental of Coaching Certificate

NFHS Concussion in Sports Certificate

NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certificate

NFHS Bullying, Hazing, and Inappropriate Behavior Certificate

Current CPR & First Aid Certification

Current AZ IVP or Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
