The candidate should also possess written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with colleagues in order to develop and deliver a challenging and innovative curriculum using adopted course maps.

Classroom Management: The candidate will be able to create, monitor and sustain a disciplined school culture of high academic and behavioral standards, and provide structure in the classroom by developing and reinforcing school-wide rules and expectations. Ideally the candidate will have experience in managing young adults (ages 11-13).

Data Analysis: The candidate will be able to develop and use a variety of assessment data to refine curricula and instructional practice in order to ensure the success of all students.

Student Support and School Culture: The candidate should be able to communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families and colleagues as well as develop and maintain a positive and strong classroom culture.

Compensation: The salary for this position is dependent on degrees earned and teaching experience and is market competitive. Compensation also includes potential for performance pay incentive as well as full health benefits and 401(k).

Interested candidates should email résumé and completed application to Headmaster, Wayne Porter (wporter@tempeprep.org).
