Salary Range:

$18.00 - $23.00 USD hourly

The Human Capital Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of duties that will assist and support the success and efficiency of the Human Capital Team. Serving as the main point of contact for Human Capital related questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate team member as needed.
This role requires someone who is skilled in customer service, detail oriented, and can work in a fast paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma required; higher education preferred.

  • Customer service experience required.

  • One year of administrative assistant experience is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.

  • Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiates and conducts recruitment pre-screening activities to ensure appropriate qualified candidates progress forward

  • Communicates promptly with candidates for interviews, scheduling, and declinations while also managing the status in Workday.

  • Accurately communicate ASU Preparatory Academy’s brand and employment benefits to candidates by staying current with organizational changes and growth.

  • Assists in coordinating in-person and/or virtual interviews to include coordinating panel and candidate calendars and communicating details to all involved parties.

  • Manages the Human Capital email inbox, responding to employee inquiries or delegating tasks to appropriate parties. 

  • Engages and leads in team and organization data projects

  • Oversees the Fingerprint Clearance Card packet process by ensuring Digital Binder is current at all times with FCC copies

  • Issues New Hire ID Cards and ASU Prep Swag to new employees

  • Processes and maintains the Qualified Tuition reduction Applicants

  • Updates and maintains all PeopleSoft Affiliations

  • Provides support to HC team members with recruitment and onboarding tasks, as needed.

  • Acts as the liaison between the organization, employees and applicants with the Human Capital Team.

  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written..

  • Familiarity with HRIS systems.

  • Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Familiarity with human resources laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.

  • Self-motivated and able to adapt well to change in direction.

  • Data collection, research, analysis, and development of recommendations and/or alternative solutions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 15 lbs. such as boxes, supplies, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

UCENT (Phoenix, Arizona)

TRAVEL: 

Occasional travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
