SUMMARY

Teach elementary students according to State and District standards. Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials. Evaluate student learning and communicate progress to students, parents, and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Education or related.

· Possess Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate and Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE: 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
