Job Summary

Scottsdale Community College (SCC) is seeking a full-time Short-Term Student Services Analyst. This position is a member of the Outreach and Recruitment team and supports the college's strategic enrollment initiatives by managing a comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) system as well as coordinating the communication process for prospective students to increase yield through a mutli-media approach. The Student Services Analyst must demonstrate knowledge and previous experience in communications campaigns including email, social media, phone, and text. This position will oversee the CRM business process and provide CRM training for department users. This position works collaboratively within the Outreach and Recruitment team in a promotion of Student Recruitment/Events. This includes support to SCC's Early Outreach, external/internal partners, including our SCC community as well as our external community members including businesses, local high schools, educational institutions, etc. This position will also be responsible for facilitating college information sessions (both on and off campus), and conducting campus tours. As a representative of the institution, the Student Services Analyst works closely with internal and external constituencies while utilizing a broad base of student services knowledge to assist a diverse student population (traditional, non-tradition, underrepresented groups, etc.) in understanding/navigating the enrollment process at SCC.

Essential Functions

30% - Schedules and facilitates presentations, information sessions and campus tours via high school visits and community outreach activities to recruit prospective students.

25% - Plans, coordinates and implements the college recruitment programs including building relationships with prospective students, parents, high school staff, high school personnel, community-based organizations, Scottsdale Community College (SCC) faculty and staff to promote the college and increase enrollment; provides services which increase SCC enrollment using various outreach methods including in-person contact and CRM data analysis; oversees outbound communications campaigns (including email, phone, print, text, and social media) to a diverse population of prospects to market, engage, recruit and enroll students.

25% - Manages the recruitment team's customer relationship management (CRM) system and tools to manage prospective student inquiries, customer relations and create a dynamic communication plan by performing data entry, completing data pulls, monitoring prospective student matriculation and the tracking of prospects related to outreach activities as well as leading CRM training for Outreach and Recruitment staff and student workers.

20% - Develops, analyzes, coordinates, and implements program functions and activities; works with Outreach and Recruiting team and other college staff on assigned projects; coordinates recruitment events on behalf of the college and assists in the execution of Outreach and Recruitment, which can include collaborations and involvement in Early College Programs, information sessions, new Student Orientation, and other activities for new, prospective, and continuing students. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.

Desired Qualifications

A. Master's degree in higher education or related field

B. Four (4) or more years of experience managing a customer relationship management (CRM) tool

C. Four (4) or more years working in student services with demonstrated knowledge of college recruitment, admissions, and enrollment

D. Four (4) or more years of public speaking experience

E. Four (4) or more years of experience training staff and/or students

F. Demonstrated experience with communications campaigns including email, print, phone, text, and social media

G. Evidence of effective written communication skills as demonstrated in the resume and cover letter

Special Working Conditions

• Travel to campus during the interview/selection process will be at the candidate's own expense.

• May be required to travel or be assigned to other MCCCD locations.

• May be required to work evenings and weekends.

• May require prolonged periods of sitting and viewing a computer screen.

• May be required to lift or carry up to 25 lbs.

• This position requires a physical presence on campus with possible partial remote work depending on business needs to best serve the students, department and college.

• This is a short-term position with a projected end date of 06/30/2024 with renewal contingent on funding source.

• External candidates hired into a short-term benefits-eligible position are ineligible for rehire into a non-benefits-eligible position or to continue working in a non-benefits-eligible position for a period of six months once their assignment ends

• May work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and environmental conditions

• Will be required to work in an area of light to heavy noise levels daily
