Morenci Unified School District seeks an energetic, self-motivated person to join our Professional Learning Community and teach Seventh Grade Math Teacher at Fairbanks Middle School. Excellent interpersonal skills, willingness to collaborate with other faculty, and the ability to motivate and engage learners are crucial.

The salary schedule starts at $51,280 for beginning teachers, and there is potential for up to $8,800 in incentive pay. The District recognizes up to 10 years of experience for placement on the salary schedule. Benefits include a major medical plan, with the District paying 100% of the premium for single employees and about 67% for families. Housing is provided for teachers through Freeport-MacMoRan, the local mining company, for modest rent. Morenci is a thriving mining community of about 2000 people with a family feel.
