JOB CLASSIFICATION: Administrative

JOB TITLE: Globe High School Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2024-2025 School Year

Work Basis: 10 hours daily (including lunch) 208 day annual contract

Rate of Pay: $84,000-$95,000

Adjustments for credits above Master’s Degree and experience.

Fringe Benefits including general leave and vacation.

Administrator performance pay equal to teacher 301 payout with satisfactory evaluation.

REPORTS TO: Superintendent 

LOCATION: Globe High School

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The principal provides for the overall administration of the school. This includes responsibilities in the following areas: staff evaluation, student discipline, staff and student supervision, scheduling, recordkeeping, ordering, monitoring and improving attendance, budgeting, inventory, parental involvement, hiring, staff development, and representing the principal at Special Education meetings. Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Requires a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate and Arizona Principal’s Certificate
2. Master’s degree
3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
